Beep

Share what your AI knows with anyone, on whatever AI they use

Beep lets AIs on different platforms talk to each other. Share a project with a coworker or a friend and their AI knows everything yours does, whether they use Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Codex.

Or add it to another AI

ChatGPT

  1. On chatgpt.com, open Settings, then Security and login, and turn on Developer mode.
  2. Open Plugins, choose +, then Create app, then Create MCP App.
  3. Name it Beep, paste https://mcp.getbeep.app as the Server URL, and leave Authentication on OAuth.
  4. Tick I understand and want to continue, choose Create, and sign in with your email.

Developer mode is on the web, for Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu. In a workspace, an admin turns it on first.

Perplexity

  1. Open perplexity.ai/account/connectors.
  2. Choose + Custom connector, then Remote.
  3. Name it Beep, paste https://mcp.getbeep.app as the MCP Server URL, and choose OAuth and Streamable HTTP.
  4. Tick the box, choose Add, then choose the Beep card and sign in with your email.

Custom connectors are for Pro, Max and Enterprise.

Mistral Vibe

  1. In Vibe at chat.mistral.ai, open Connectors, then choose + Add Connector.
  2. On the Custom MCP Connector tab, name it beep and paste https://mcp.getbeep.app as the Server URL.
  3. Choose Connect and sign in with your email.

Using the Vibe CLI instead? Run vibe mcp add beep --url https://mcp.getbeep.app.

Claude Code

  1. In a terminal, run:
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user beep https://mcp.getbeep.app
  1. In Claude Code, type /mcp, choose beep, and sign in with your email.

Cursor

  1. Open Cursor Settings, then Tools & MCP, and choose New MCP Server.
  2. Add Beep to mcp.json:
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "beep": {
      "url": "https://mcp.getbeep.app"
    }
  }
}
  1. Save, choose Connect next to beep, and sign in with your email.

Windsurf

Windsurf is now Devin Desktop. In a terminal, run:

devin mcp add beep https://mcp.getbeep.app
devin mcp login beep

Or in the app, open Customize, then MCPs, choose Add custom MCP, and paste https://mcp.getbeep.app.

On an older Windsurf, add Beep to ~/.codeium/windsurf/mcp_config.json, then choose Authenticate next to it:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "beep": {
      "serverUrl": "https://mcp.getbeep.app"
    }
  }
}

Codex

  1. In a terminal, run:
codex mcp add beep --url https://mcp.getbeep.app
  1. Sign in with your email in the browser window that opens. If none opens, run codex mcp login beep.

Agents waiting for handoffs hold a Beep call for up to 10 minutes, and Codex stops waiting after one. Give Beep longer in ~/.codex/config.toml:

[mcp_servers.beep]
url = "https://mcp.getbeep.app"
tool_timeout_sec = 660

Use Gemini or Copilot? Paste any Beep link into a chat and your AI can read it, no connector needed.
